दिवालोक विलंब कर रहा-
नम्बर वाली सड़कें
महासागर की ओर






silky mares-
the scent of fresh grass
carried by the wind

रेशमी घोड़ियाँ-
ताज़े घास की सुगन्ध
जो हवा उठा लाई




at dusk a child
rummaging the leaves...
fallen trees

सांध्यप्रकाश में एक बच्चा
पत्ता छानबीन कर रहा है-
गिरे हुए वृक्ष






workers waiting-
over the boundary pass
hundreds of cranes

काम करने वाले-प्रतीक्षा करते
परिसीमा के ऊपर से गुज़रे
सैंकड़ों सारस





going downtown
stars vanish
one by one

शहर के बाज़ार जाते
तारे अदृश्य हो जाते हैं
एक एक कर के

Sonia Coman is a student of art history and fine arts at Harvard University in the US. Her poetry has been included in numerous anthologies and magazines in Romania, Italy, Croatia, UK, Japan and the US. In 2002, she founded the Japanese Culture and Civilization Center in Constanta, Romania.
